An encounter took place between criminals and police in Muzaffarpur in which two criminals were injured. The incident took place in Banghara of Siwai Patti police station area. Regarding the incident, police said that two criminals came with weapons to rob Indian Bank. As soon as they reached there, the criminals started firing at the police. During this, the police fired in self-defense in which both the criminals got injured. The injured criminals have been identified as Sundaram, a resident of Saraiya police station area and Deepu, a resident of Kachchi Pakki of Sadar police station area.
The criminals who came to rob the bank faced the police
Regarding the incident, SSP Rakesh Kumar says that two criminals had arrived near Indian Bank with weapons. The bank employee became suspicious through CCTV and he immediately informed the bank manager about this. On seeing two suspicious people roaming near the bank with weapons, the bank manager immediately informed the local police station about this. The police took immediate action and immediately reached the bank. As soon as they reached the bank, the police tried to stop both the suspected accused. Seeing the situation getting worse, both the criminals started running away from there. Then the police started surrounding both of them. Seeing being surrounded by the police, one of them opened fire on the police. On being shot, the police team retaliated and started firing on both the criminals in self-defense, in which both the criminals fell on the ground as soon as they were shot.

Police says that among the injured criminals, one is a notorious bank robber Sundaram, while the other is Deepu. Meanwhile, police have recovered weapons from them. Among the injured criminals is a notorious bank robber Sundaram against whom cases of bank robbery have been registered in many states including Bihar and Odisha.
